The table series GRAVITY TABLE by designer Hanne Willmann adds perfectly to the collection of luxury beds by the company Schramm. At the Salone del Mobile 2019, the long-standing family business utilised the showroom at their exhibition appearance for their catalogue photographs and displayed the coffee table and side table in Nero Marquina.
What both brands have in common are their high quality standards, their dedication to the craftsmanship, sustainability and the production in Germany.
On the occasion of its 100th anniversary, the Bauhaus Association will join regional, national and international partners with the motto “Thinking the World Anew” in order to rediscover the Bauhaus heritage as well as its present and future significance.
In the context of these celebrations, an anniversary programme including numerous events has been compiled. At the moment, the Bauhaus Dessau exhibits the side table GRAVITY TABLE designed by Hanne Willmann.
Dessau is the city most closely associated with the Bauhaus. This is where the school of design – after its foundation by Walter Gropius in 1919 in Weimar – was active for the longest period of time and where it experienced its golden period between 1925 and 1932.

At the imm cologne 2019 favius presented the table series GRAVITY TABLE by Hanne Willmann and the bowls PIEDUCCIO by SCMP DESIGN OFFICE.
In her table series GRAVITY TABLE designer Hanne Willmann from Berlin transforms the classic table base into a characteristic element by using noble marble. With its balanced proportions and its puristic elegance, the table series integrates perfectly into the company philosophy of favius.
Simultaneously, the bowls PIEDUCCIO of the French SCMP DESIGN OFFICE were presented. Fine processing details plus the craftsmanship of the fusing-procedure for manufacturing the unique glass covers characterize this distinctive design and complete the collection of favius.
The mirror HIDE by Danish designer Mikkel Vandborg won this year’s German Design Award Special Mention by the German Design Council.
The elegant simplicity of the HIDE wall mirror is impressive. High-quality leather encloses the organic shape of the mirror while forming the flawless hanger. A soft and harmonious frame has thus been created, which nestles against the mirror and hook. The aesthetic finish is provided by the oiled (or black-stained) wall hook made from turned oak. Thanks to its minimalistic style, HIDE will find a place at numerous locations, making this something very special indeed.

CBK Amsterdam has begun the summer with its completely redesigned CBKAMER design shop. The occasion of its opening in the monumental structure of the “Centrums foor Bleedend Kunst” (CBK) is being marked by the CBKAMER Design Expo.
This exhibition, which was ceremoniously opened on 15th June 2018, highlights unique designs by talented designers and artists that impress as a result of their production methods.
We are delighted that several products from our current collection have found a place in the diverse collection of furniture, ceramics, jewellery and accessories.
Our avant-garde ARCH CHAIR armchair, designed by Martin Hirth, as well as the GLASGOW glass vases and our PIVOT porcelain dishes – both designed by Anna Weber – are currently on display at the Design Expo.

At imm cologne 2018 favius presented the new upholstered chair PILLAR by Martin Hirth and the mirror HIDE with its edge in leather by the danish designer Mikkel Vandborg. Our set of bowls PIVOT designed by Anna Weber is now available in black porcelain.
We are pretty thankful for each visit at this year´s stand!
Before the brand favius even existed, Anna Weber’s vases appeal in England. During the London Design Festival 2016 the hand blown vases were presented in the well-respected interior design store mint.
The mint store is within spitting distance to the Victoria and Albert museum (V&A) which is the starting point for many visitors. The festival and its 400 activities unite the traditional and the modern design culture and attract more than 375.000 visitors every year. Several hundreds exhibitors celebrate their designs in London those days.
