Anna Weber’s china bowls are manufactured by hand in a traditional way. According to an ancient method the porcelain paste is cast into gypsum moulds. After a short while the excess paste is poured off. Then the bowls are removed from their moulds and – after a drying period – put into a kiln set at 1350 degrees centigrade. A special grinding technique gives the pure and unglazed material it’s silk like texture and elegant appearance.
