LENSCAPE Coterie – Design meets the Portuguese atmosphere

At LENSCAPE Coterie in Portugal, each of the 39 rooms becomes an individual retreat. The interior design combines natural materials, clean forms and carefully selected accents of colour to create an atmosphere that feels contemporary, warm and relaxed at the same time.

The interior was designed by Christian Haas. Together with local craftspeople, numerous elements were created especially for the hotel – from bespoke furniture to distinctive details in ceramics and porcelain.

favius is also an integral part of the design concept: the entire hotel is equipped with FONTE table lamps. In selected rooms, BOIA coffee tables in different colours complement the interiors. Both designs were created by Christian Haas for favius and naturally integrate into the overall concept he developed for the hotel.

At LENSCAPE Coterie, interior design, art, craftsmanship and light come together in a harmonious dialogue – creating a place where every detail becomes part of a larger design vision.

The Porto Arts Club, located in the heart of Porto in the Foz do Douro district, is a private members’ club that unites art, community, and the culture of the good life. The spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments offer a stylish retreat. Featuring exclusive, custom-made furniture, the rooms shine in shades of pink, dove gray, and warm sand. Open living areas with fully equipped kitchens, along with some private terraces or views of Foz do Douro, create an elegant and relaxed ambiance. All apartments are equipped with the FONTE table lamp designed by Christian Haas in powder or caramel brown.

For the design of a villa near Düsseldorf, Studio Bonny Interior created a concept that brings together design, materiality, and atmosphere in a truly distinctive way. With a refined sense of aesthetics and impact, carefully selected design pieces were thoughtfully staged.

The sculptural floor lamp FUNGI in orange red, designed by Hanne Willmann, makes a bold statement, while the elegant table lamp FONTE by Christian Haas in caramel brown creates a warm and inviting lighting ambiance. The composition is completed by the sophisticated side table SEDIMENT in Giallo Reale marble, designed by Studio Besau-Marguerre, whose striking structure and rich color add a luxurious accent.

The result is an interior that not only impresses through high-quality materials and timeless design, but also creates an emotional connection – stylish, full of character, and with a distinctive signature.

Because even a visit to the dentist can feel like a small adventure – full of color, lightness, and imagination. Designed by Stephanie Thatenhorst Interior Design , the space playfully builds trust while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The side table BROMO in silk beige, designed by Hanne Willmann, along with the side table SEDIMENT in Verde Guatemala marble, add refined, high-quality accents, combining functionality with sculptural elegance.

In a carefully curated setting, a harmonious interplay of light, form, and material unfolds. The FUNGI floor lamp in the new Sky Blue ceramic finish by Hanne Willmann, the FONTE table lamp in cypress green by Christian Haas, and the PIVOT bowl series by Anna Weber come together in a balanced composition — in subtle dialogue with the elegant furniture pieces by Freifrau and Janua, captured in a refined photo shoot in the Netherlands.

Welcome to a journey into the fascinating world of carpet design. Under the title ICONS – Carpets with Soul, JAB ANSTOETZ Flooring invited six renowned and refreshingly unconventional designers from three continents to create extraordinary carpet artworks. In collaboration with one of Europe’s leading design brands, handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces were brought to life – merging tradition with innovation in perfect harmony.

For the ICONS collection photoshoot, selected design objects by favius were featured: the elegant BROMO side table in Copper Brown and Silk Beige, and the sculptural FUNGI lamp in Warm Beige – both designed by Hanne Willmann. Our characterful pieces not only complement the carpets visually, but also emphasize the curated, artistic spirit of the entire collection.

Création Baumann will be presenting itself in a new, more prominent exhibition space at the Design Post Köln on the occasion of imm cologne from 14-18 January 2024. Designed by Studio Besau-Marguerre, the exhibition concept showcases the textile product world of the Swiss textile specialist in an inspiring and informative way. The new side- and coffee table SEDIMENT in Nero Marquina, designed by Studio Besau-Marguerre for favius, were used for the design.
